Chloe and Sherri start anew

When Chloe and Sherri woke up this morning, they had no idea what a big day this would be for them. After several years in a home, with people they knew and loved, they would find themselves among strangers and in a new place. The amazing thing about greyhounds, though, is their resiliency.

Chloe rides well, and watched the traffic for a while.

Sherri preferred to sleep on the trip to Nashville!!

Once we got home, the girls explored the yard
and seemed to really like all the smells and sights.

Rabbit?

They settled well, so I decided to let them meet my own hounds a little earlier than I was planning. Typical greyhound introductions... "Hello. My name is Chloe. This is my butt."

The girls did a little more pacing and panting, but soon realized they were safe and all was well. Chloe found a comfy bed, and snuggled in with a stuffie to start a nap. Is she cute or what???

Sherri settled faster than I expected. She's a little more tentative about new things, but she stuck right along with Chloe, and decided it was time for a nap too.

Chloe and Sherri... best friends... two adorable hounds!!!
